About Limestone
Limestone is a very fine-grained, dense stone that can be crafted with a wide variety of finishes. Thanks to its high density, it offers excellent colour retention, so it’s perfect for outdoor applications, including statues, sculptures, water features and garden pots. And because it can also be crafted with a clean, smooth finish, it’s an equally suitable material for indoor homewares, where a coarse finish may not be ideal.
Usually a uniform vivid white or warm ‘golden’ colour, limestone can also be grey and wavy. This grey variant of limestone is called Brexi Stone.
Care Instructions for Limestone
Limestone statues, sculptures, water features and garden pots can be cleaned with a regular garden hose, but you need to make sure you don’t overdo the pressure. TIP: Use a nozzle that delivers a broad, flat spray. They’re very common; you’ll pick one up very cheap at your local hardware.
